Ere grew up in Mexico with a traditional medicine man grandfather,and a mother with a flair for home remedies and beauty recipes.Later, with a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and certifications innaturopathy, Bach flowers and acupuncture, Ere emigrated to Australia.In 2002, Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics was born.We are the alchemy of Australia’s bountiful nature and eco lifestyle,with a dash of rich Mexican colour and vibrant culture

  • Refills: Creating refillable products that replace an insert pan into your existing product so you can save the planet from extra packaging. We even created the world’s first mono-element refillable makeup compact!
  • Mono materials: This relates to single ingredient pieces such as 100% glass, carton or aluminium. This allows for easier dismantling and recycling of packaging elements.
  • Zero water: Items designed with as minimal impact on the environment as possible,with as little being thrown away in the life cycle of the product. Including recyclable packaging and biomaterials.
  • Recycled plastic: We aim to use a mix of PCR (post-consumer recycled) and recyclable plastics depending on the components of each product. We choose the most sustainable option.
  • Plastic free: Replacing plastic in product packaging with an infinitely recyclable material like glass/aluminium. Using plastic-free biodegradable / compostable materials for postage and shipping.
  • Multitaskers: One product with many uses! By choosing a multitasker like a 2-in-1 or even 3-in-1, a lot of materials and resources are saved.
  • Biodegradable: Use of 100% plant-based materials or PLA (bio-based plastic).
  • Ingredient dignity: Choosing ingredients that are potent & nutritive but widely available. Avoiding ingredients that are rare or under threat from over-production. Creating formulas rich in plant-based skin nutrition but free from unwanted harsh chemicals.
  • Sustainable palm oil: All our products are palm oil free except for our tintedmascaras. Ere Perez supports the sustainable production of palm oil by purchasing credits that supports these practices.
  • Carbon neutral: We have been certified carbon neutral since 2016, offsetting our carbon from all elements of production to contribute to positive sustainable initiatives. Even our shipping is carbon neutral.
  • Our packaging: The quest to create beautiful, clean and ethical makeup and skincare products never ends. Our packaging has evolved over the years to be more earth-friendly. We’ve created innovative, refillable makeup compacts, transitioned to post-consumer recycled (PCR)plastic, and changed the traditional lipstick bullet to award-winning zero-waste Coco Crayons
